The World Café: „Similarity of cultures – myth or reality?“

While we talk about diversities of cultures, in many ways, we think about differences between cultures. But, how it could be useful to pay more attention to the similarities of cultures? What could be the common features of different cultures? These questions and many others about similarities-differences are being discussed in next World Café conversations.

The topic will be introduced by Judit Strömpl, associate professor of social policy in university of Tartu. Judith is Hungarian and has lived many years in Estonia. She has studied Russian language and culture and got PhD in Social Sciences in Finland.

The World Café comprises of conversations about questions that matter. The World Café enables to share easily anyone’s ideas and opinions as well as to create personal relationships to learn and produce shared knowledge. More over, you never know which conclusions it will come to.
